RDC/GOMA:AFC/M23 announced that 874 people died during to capture the city of Goma.
The alliance Congo river (AFC/M23) the coalition which is fighting against the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo has annonced that 874 people died during its offensive to capture the city of Goma at the end of January 2025.
This announcent is contained in a report released today on 30 May ,which refutes the allegations made by the DRC government that around 3000 people had died in Goma.
In press conference Bertrand Bisimwa vice coordinator of allince Congo river (AFC/M23) said that when their will take power Felix Tshisekedi will have to answer for his crimes,he armed children from East with no military training,with plastic bulletproof vests,to send them to fight the Congolese Revolutionary Army (ARC/M23
The AFC/M23 had form the commisssion for conducting the investigation in order to refutes the allegations of Amnesty with Kinshasa regime which claimed to kill 3000 people in Goma ,that commission is composed by 40 Congoles people from around the continent ,there are lawyers,medecin and other categories concerned by topics under investigated.
